My name is SALVO RIGGI; I was born in Palermo, a wonderful city in Sicily, on February 17th, 1978.
They tell me that it was Friday at 7.00 am when I just been born; I had big eyes. The first thing I did was urinated on the doctor who helped my mother give birth... and they understood who was in front of them!
I grew up in my beautiful city with my mother's love, a wonderful woman, my grandparents and my older sister. Since I was young, I had lots of interests and I had a free spirit.
I was doing lots of activities in order to placate my explosive and inexhaustible energy: I danced, I played music, and I did any sports that I could do ... even running after girls...
I was getting older and it was clearer to me that all this was not enough for me; a fire was burning inside me and day after day it was self-evident that my deepest dream was: “movie, television camera,” etc.
These have been always in my nature... very deep inside me.
After a while, after having thought about my ambitions, I took the painful decision to leave my family and my beloved Sicily running after my future. I was 20 years old and I landed in London on Halloween night... a metropolis of colours, ethnic groups, cultures.

I was scared about this change, I was alone, but full of energy and longing to fulfil my dream.
I made lots of sacrifices, any kind of jobs, even the most menial tasks, never let me getting from discouragement and difficulties; it was hard but I was resilient and for this I was really proud.
In the meantime, making different jobs, while I was running after my dream, the dream that each day let me get up happy and full of excitement till when ... after some years, the big opportunity to be a member of “SHIPWRECKED”. I together with 25000 contestants auditioned for the TV show, and from there a new adventure in my life was beginning.
The television cameras were on day and night; it was a great experience and my interest in this world of art was getting closer to me.
After that experience, I've had lots of opportunities as dancer in different places, I've been part of actual TV advertising spots, I've been in different television shows and my dream keeps flying up.
In the meantime, I keep study and work and I pray God every day to let me have the power, consistency and dedication that are part of me and today that I'm 30 years-old I look at the future with dignity and humility in the respect of that dream that has been always part of my life.
Keep the dream alive forever.....
